mag drive 9.5 ?

<span style="font-family: Times New Roman;"><span style="font-size: 13px;">I have a mag drive 9.5 (like a 950 gph pump?) as my return pump, probably 6 months or so old. that being stated why is it that when you first hook up a pump it will nearly tumble your live rock from one end of the tank to the other and now I get it seems like 20 gph out of the darn thing :shout: not old enough to be wore out. seems to me they all do that after awhile, am i missing something? :mad2:</span></span>

You might need to take off the face plate to see if something (like a snail) is restricting the flow.
