Who else knows the glory of Magic Erasers? Best thing in the world to clean a tank. I am running low as well and about to order some from China, so if someone wants some I can get them to you at whatever it cost me (about .25 each).

haha, I'm not even ordering that many but here you go...

Nice find!

And Boom..just ordered! :)

Been using them for about a year now. They work great. Usually I just got a 2 pack from the dollar store. That 100 pc deal on ebay would last years.

Huh? Seriously?

Do you people ever shop at the Dollar Store? They are just about as cheap and you don't have to buy in bulk. Just buy the store brand instead of the name brand if you want to save more. They are the same thing...... Magic Erasers are cheap enough that buying in bulk just doesn't make since........ That's like having a truck load of filter floss delivered to save money, when buying it by the bag is pretty cheap enough!

Curious as to how you folks use them too. So, what are they good for?

They're completely safe and use no chemicals. Great for use in tanks. I've been using them for years but only buy a pack at a time..that's a PITA. $19 is nothing, but saving my time is worth hundreds!

I use them for cleaning the inside of the tank. They also work well for cleaning walls throughout the house of course. I ended up ordering 50 for 10.80 shipped, so like .24 each.

And if you want filter floss just take a 40% off coupon to Michaels, Joanns, or Hobby Lobby and buy a bag of pillow stuffing. It will last you a year and it will run you about $2.00 or less.

I've tried both the store brand erasers and the brand name (Mr. Clean) and there *is* a difference. I don't use them for tanks, but for household stuff. The store brand doesn't do as good a job and it doesn't last very long - falls apart on tough jobs.

Haven't used them on tanks so the cheapie ones probably do just as good a job.

It would be cheaper for you just to order 50 of your own after paying the shipping for a bulky item like that. Check out the same seller as linked above he has auctions for amounts as small as 10.

There is a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser kitchen I believe that has chemical so be careful. The regular Magic Eraser does not have chemical.

You';re right, the store brand falls apart quicker, but I had a 30 cube and would tear one store brand scrubber in half, and then throw it away.... Just one-time use.

For this purpose, they are quick, cheap and easy.

Be careful with the floss from craft stores. Many of them have fire resistant chemicals that (in the very least) will make your skimmer flip out.

Use these things to clean inside tank, corners, skimmer neck etc. But as noted above be sure to the the *original* magic eraser or store brand equivalent. Using ones with built in detergent which some of them have, would be catastrophic
