Male manderin getting the dishes fist

My otherwise loving pair of manderins demonstrated some wierd activity the other day. My female was tossing my male around. They are back to love dancing at night and following eachother around. I don't know what this was all about but I got it on video.

I think it is just a show of dominance/submission. Happened when I introduced a new clown in my tank to replace my 4yr old jumper and with the mandarins paired up at Austin's.
