Hey everyone,
Just wanted to post a update. Week 3 with my mandarin and he has taken to his feeder! Trying to slowly train him.

I need to make one for our qt system in case we ever need it. I heard they work great

I made one a while back. Worked great for mandarins, scooters and pipefish.

Just remember to clean it at least every 2 weeks.

This is very cool! I’ve thought about doing something like this but im too lazy to hatch shrimp on a regular basis Lol.

I use one of these. They’re crazy easy to use.

How many fish did you keep with 1 feeder?
Green mandarin pair, and a trio of ruby scooters, but all the wrasses would also come by for a snack. I had a ehiem feeder(hole taped almost closed) that fed a big pinch of brine eggs once a day. The box itself was scrap acrylic with some pantyhose stretched over it.

I’ve used one of those when breeding freshwater angels. They are definitely the way to go if you’re gonna breed or feed picky eaters but I still don’t wanna hatch brine. If I could just throw the eggs in and have them hatch in the tank and not make a mess I’d prob do it Lol.
