Guys, I am finishing up my sump room and I am currently setting up a manifold to feed water into my reactors. I have decided to give the manifold its own dedicated pump and wanted feedback on what would provide sufficient flow. Here is what I will be running:

Geo 618 Calcium Reactor - Low Flow
GFO - Low Flow
Carbon - Moderate/ High Flow
Matrix - High Flow

When I build this, I am going to give each reactor its own valve for controlling flow. Do you guys recommend a gate or ball valve?

I have several pumps available for the job, but would be open to buying a different model if what I have is not sufficient. I currently have a Mag 7 and and Mag 12 that I could use for the job. What do you guys think would work best?

I appreciate the feedback.

Why would you not want to throttle with a gate valve? They are far easier to "dial" in than a ball valve. I use them for everything as throttles, I use ball valves for the on/off applications.

I agree the mag 7 should be plenty for those 4 items.
