Anyone ever order a tank from Marine Depot?

If so, how long did it take to get to you?

I ordered the new JBJ rimless 30g paired with the JBJ 54w l.e.d unibody.

I have high hopes for it and will definitely post some pictures/build up of it. I need to get some parts for my ro/di unit, I may have to buy some water from a sponsor to get me started.

What sponsors have a good selection of live rock? I have been on about a 3 year hiatus and am lagging behind on what sponsors are out there. I am sure there are a few different ones from the time I frequented the stores.

I have ordered from Marine Depot several times and had no problems, even when I had a question customer service helped me out! Took 4 or 5 days to get here. Can't help ya on the live rock question...

I normally try to buy tanks from sponsors around the area but the ones that I knew did not have what I was looking for in stock, so I decided to go with Marine Depot.

I was nervous about ordering a tank from them but I have heard good things about their customer service.

Pure Reef has a nice selection. They have 4 curing tanks that typically have a different variety in each. Of course, I'm not sure where aragon is, so it might be quite the hike.

i had the same experience. i ordered a rimless cube and came in excellent packaging. they're in California i think so it does tank 4-5 weekdays to get delivered

Same here. Got an 11.4g Mr. Aqua from them. 4 or 5 days, and outstanding packaging.

Got my LR from Pure Reef. Great stuff. Saw some cool rock at Imagine Ocean, too.

Thanks all. That sets my mind at ease a little bit that others have experienced good results with the packaging of the tank. I like to be a little more hands on with what I purchase but I got antsy.

Pure Reef is around 2 hours from me, I have dealt with Imagine and Jenn before.

It would be nice to get some live rock that is already cured locally to cut down on cycling time.
