Maroon mouthing gbta?

So I have had a pair of maroons for a month and I just put a 6 inch gbta in there and both clowns amediatly went into in and started hosting but the female seems to be mouthing it. She sucks a tenticle in her mouth and spits it back out. The gbta dosent seem to mind it cause it's staying open. Any ideas on why it would be doing this? Seems intersting.

Fish and crustaceans that host nems have to eather bite or suck the tentacles in order to build up a resistance to the nems toxic compounds. It's not the same as you may think as they start to produce chemicals in there slime coat or shells in shrimp and crabs that mimic the what the nem produces and keeps the nemonites (sp?mb) from firing and capturing the animal as a food source. Fish seam to be the fastest in transition between nems as long as there not seabare or hadoni (very potent nems with a aquariest kill record) causation on the other hand must wait untill they molt in order to change host and have to readjust to the nem every time they molt

It's up to the nem and the fish if the nem retracts for more then a day eather it or the clowns nead to go every person gits difrent millage with marone and nems
