We have tried to get the clowns from Christ at Einstein to no avail. We can't afford it yet

See IMO that is just crazy. Anyone that pays that for a fish of that size needs their head checked. It's a fish you can't even eat, now some of them Blue Tuna prices can get crazy, but at least it's the best sushi one could eat.

yeah, like this one:

Don't worry about him. I got a basslet recently and I didn't see it for two weeks after adding him from the QT to the DT. I thought for certain he was dead. And man I was PO'ed given the cost. Then, all the sudden one day... There he was. Just as social and active as the rest of my fish.

well instead of getting another fish, why not just get another tank? in the long run, I think the tank will outlive the fish.

Looks like a cool fish, and if that kind of money doesn't bother someone, then why not? People have paid more for pieces of coral, and that just sits there...

patience is all i have now. he spent a week in QT with Einstein's before he'll let me have him (and my tailspot). When i picked em up he was in a container with a sixline that HE was bullying. lol i'm sure he is there some where amongst my huge rock structure

It is all relative. People with a $10 a week income probably thinks we are insane for spending $50:)

50 DOLLARS :wow2::wow2:. No just kidding. Unfortunately this hobby has made me numb to emptying my wallet :lol2:

Very true, when family ask how much I paid for something in my tank they usually get pissed off and murmur something about how stupid it is. Which is crazy because my most expensive fish is $25! But then if you ask them how much they spent on that new gun or new welding machine and they throw out some crazy number they get defensive.

$1500 hundred is nothing. The more exotic angels can wholesale for 8K. Look up wrought iron, conspicuous, or masked angel fish. Those get expensive.

People in this country can spend their money any way they please.

People in any country can spend what they want. I don't care if you are from here or Timbuktu, to spend that kind of money on such a fish is preposterous IMO.

I have no problem spending high dollar on fish, but to spend $1500 on such a tiny fish baffles me.
