Member LEDs.? Dimable?? RKE?

Has anyone used the member modified LEDs that are diamable with a Reefkeeper?

I could be wrong, but aren't the MM leds dimmable through the use of potentiometers? I don't know that they are going to be able to be ramped up or down through the use of a controller. I believe that you'll need leds that are dimmable through the use of a 0-10v analog or PWM signal.

Can someone confirm my understanding?

There are two versions - the dimmable through a potentiometer (manual) and a 0-10V analog dimming one that requires the use of a controller...
