Seriously contemplating about becoming a member, the only downside is that I live all the way in Blue Ridge and feel like I would miss out on a lot of the cool things going on. I've seen that you could get 30% off of livestock at certain sponsors I would like to know which ones those include. I do most of my reefing shopping around the Kennesaw area as I'm a student there, would love to be apart of this community just need the extra push to get in lol.

I lived in Blue Ridge when i first joined on Ada street. It was hard for me at first , getting to go to meeting and and what not. But i was able to take advantage of the discounts at the lfs on just about everything.

Your thinking why should you join i live 1 1/2 hours from anything it would just be a waist . But trust me its worth it.

Also if you join i will give you a zoa frag of your choice :

I would all so like to know where we get 30% off at I thought the most was 20 lol

Participating sponsors give a 10% discount on most (but not all) items. I don't know any that give 20 or 30 except maybe on certain promotions.

But, as Dabo said, it isn't about the discounts to those who have become members. It is about the community and promoting the hobby. Trust me, it is $30 well spent.

I made 3 trips to lfs, I spent enough money on 1st two trips to pay for my membership, I joined club right before my 3rd trip. Talk about kicking myself lol

I'm in Chattanooga and will probably join soon. If I can't attend meetings or get the discount as much my fee will go towards keeping this forum up which prob has saved me $30 many times over! Great community to be a part of

Eric much appreciated and you lived right in downtown I know Ada very well got a buddy that lives on there. Come the new year and when I get back into town I will join this great club as I've learned a lot on here and I've seen how you guys act with one another and to be honest that's something special. I saw where a guy was not nice to say the least about a member selling something and he went off the rails, the members here came to his defense without him even knowing what the heck just went on. That kind of comradity is something I'd like to be apart of. Eric also thank you very much for the frag offer I'm setting up a biocube once the new year hits. Getting all the stuff for it now. Thanks everyone!

I live in North Georgia too but very happy that I joined. I have met some cool reefers here. If you ever need help with a tank project or are trying to sell/trade your equipment or livestock you can definitely do it here. The lfs discounts are just a bonus.

I live in lake arrowhead in waleska and I've met multiple people man no worries it's worth it I promise! not to mention the best part about this site are the people and they all try to make everything easy for everyone by meeting close to you sometimes even coming all the way to your house.
