MH Retrofit wiring help.

I got a spider reflector, mogul and socket to replace an older reflector. Took the old reflector wiring out, it has 3 wires white, black, and green. Green being the ground wire. The new socket has 2 wires, black and white. My question is where do i connect the ground wire?

More then likely the ground wire was attached to the reflector somewhere..... is there a little junction box on the reflector for making taps? Actually do you have any pics?

That's what I thought, but there is no place to attach it. Here is a pic.

OK I looked back at my build thread here:

Scroll down and you can see the ballasts and how they are wired sort of.

All plug leads will go to the ballast and the ignitor.

Your ballast should have a diagram on it...if not google the ballast and you should be able to find the schematic.

Attach it where the bracket holding the socket attaches to the reflector. There should be a screw at that point.
