Since I set up my 180 ive been habing trouble with microbubbles from the output of my skimmer. My sump is like a hot tub with all the bubbles. I have 3 baffles and 2 open cell sponges around the return input. I just tried a small sock on the output and it still kicks out tons of bubbles, made it worse! I turned the skimmer off for now until I figure out a solution. any ideas?

Hey bud I had same issue with my skimmer I kept playing with the skimmer and after messing with it for a while it went away. I have an Octopus skimmer FWIW

This is how my skimmer is set up in relation to the drain. Ill try to take a pic of exactly what Im talking about..

Same sump as I had with my 210, problem is the skimmer output. The way I had it set up the drain with the filter sock was in between this output and the baffles now it is reverse.

try dialing back the return pump... give the bubbles more of a chance to "get high" in the sump..
