ok so I've been a fan of Mighty Magnets for a while now (http://www.mightymagnets.com">www.mightymagnets.com</a>)

I just got an algae scrubber sock in and MAN it REALLY makes short work of some of the rougher algae on my acrylic tank.

Recommended ?

YES.

just modify your mag-floats. I forget who, but someone was asking about a rounded scraper the other day, if you look around that site they have different arcs, so you can make your own! I'd think that would work and cut down on over head. Good business chance for someone.

Yikes those are expensive! I have a ton of rare earth magnets that I've removed from old hard drives but they are so strong I'd be afraid that it would break my tank when they snap together.
