I got this 24 gal aquapod saturday from a guy here and it was a bit messy so i decided to clean everything before livestock goes back and now I'm afraid I broke the cycle.
here are the details:
- tank was fully cleaned with vinegar, came out like new.
- lots of live rock that I kept under water all the time, just used a dip for parasites.
- live sand was rinsed with aquarium water a few times and went back in the tank.
- I removed all the bioballs, ceramic rings and sponges but they were clean anyway
- restarted the tank saturday night with about 20 gal clean SW
- did a small WC on monday, around 2 gal
I'm afraid that by cleaning everything I broke the cycle since this morning the water was a bit cloudy, I attached a pic
I'll start doing a 5 gal WC every day, what else can I try to keep everything alive short of moving them to my other tank??
Livestock: 2 small percs, one goby and shrimp pair and some small corals plus CUC
thanks
