I'd like to add 2-3 shrimp to my 50 gal potential reef. I'm shooting for variety, so are there some that will live in harmony with each other? Up for consideration are the coral banded, peppermint, fire, and cleaner shrimps. Any I missed? or is this too much? Thanks!

I have kept peppermint fire and cleaner together before. I have never had any luck keeping a coral banded with any of the others they don't play nice.

I'd stay away from the coral bandeds, too... unless you like dischord in your tank.

I have a fire and 2 cleaners in a 75 now. The cleaners stay on their side and the fire stays on his side. The fire is definitely the more aggressive though, but as long as the cleaners stay out of his area, he is fine.

I have a fire and a cleaner in my 72, they dont really hang out together but I've never seen any aggression when they come in contact. In fact they nest on one side of the tank.

I have Cleaners, Peppermint and Sexy Shrimps in the 55G and all are fine together. My CBS polished off all the other shrimps in the 210 though...

+1..

I've got 4 cleaners, 4 peps and a fire shrimp right now in my 90

I have a huge coral banded that chases a big cleaner all night but they didn't kill each other in well over 1 year now. Also in the tank a small candy pistol that's sharing teh same cave with a peppermint. There used to be 4 or 5 peppermints but I think the coral banded ate the rest. - this in the 65gal

the 135 has 3 cleaners, 1 peppermint and 1 pistol
