montipora lighting

I dont have a par meter but I divide the tank up into the level where the bird nest and cats paw are happy/healthy. An then the level where the candy cane corals are happy. Frogspawn is happy between the two and of course there are some lower light spots where the taro tree is doing well.

Where in this scheme should the montipora go? They seem to have their best color in darker areas. In fact the green one goes brown in high light. The red one gets loses color on the birds nest level.

I cant find a good spot. Any input?

what kinda lighting are we talking about? Monties are normally pretty easy to please as long as they aren't in extreme flow areas.
 
Lol I always wondered myself. My sunset likes the sand and my caps like the corners of my tank midway. I run halides.
 
My lights are LED, 18 1 watt 5500 k white and 18 1 watt 455nm blue. Dont know the lumens they put out.
