Yep. had a breakout of Bubble Algae but its finally "under control" with just a few patches popping up here and there.

Tips of the Acros are a nice blue.
Got a few burnt tips on the Birds Nests but they recovered nicely.
I want to get with you soon to learn a bit more about the dosing. I have a feeling I may need a little help in that area.

That was my first thought. However have not seen any. The one thats giving you a headache is in a plastic cup and I have not seen any signs of Nudi's. That's what has me baffled.

Have you checked your iodine. Last summer my monti started to look bad and I lost one small frag but was able to save the main colony. My iodine was at near 0. I started dosing with Seachem iodine and it recovered and is growing great now. It was a green vase shaped monti that was affected. The encrusting monti nearby was fine. I don't know if that is your problem, but you could try testing for it. Creation reef test my water for me.

Man sorry to see this with the Monti's.

I just burnt up the edges of my blue polyp / mint green one you gave me. I moved a power head over two inches and over a few days rubbed it the wrong way. I think it will be OK.

Good luck nailing down the issue at hand. Any consensus yet?
