Moorish Idol Reef safe?

Just curious to hear about experiences with a Moorish Idol in a reef tank with SPS... Just wondering if it worked and how big the tank was...

Never had one but they are going to be a 50/50 shot. I know everywhere you look them up it says "With caution"

I guess they fall into the same group as butterfly and angelfish... i know I saw video of Oz's tank and he had a pair of Copperbanded butterflies... I've had a coral beauty in my tank for the past 4 years and never had a problem with any SPS, and I know they have the potential to nip at polyps...

Ive had one for almost two years, and you will learn that even with feeding heavy, they will still nip. Now as to what type of corals, that depends, mine likes bubbly tissue like acans, brains, etc but others ive seen will nip at zoas. Ive just accepted it and just purchase zoas and sps. So typically id advise against them unless your ok with just not having that type of coral in your tank.
