I been using my rodi for a couple days finally picked up a shut off valve for the line that runs from rodi to my top off water.

It has the block on it that is supposed to auto shut off the unit with pressure built up but last night it never seemed to shut off. Or build up pressure even with the valve closed. I hooked it up per instructions it is a water general rd102.

Am I missing something?

I was also thinking how does pressure increase from a shut off wouldn't that just direct more water to the drain?

Not sure I bought it from skirz it was running fine for him and all I did was add a line to the inlet and outlet. Only other problme I could see is I just do get 40 pressure at the feed line which is minimum operating pressure

I tried looking at my well pump which sits about 40 feet away from house and has a gauge reading out 80 psi at the pump I saw a shut off valve a electronic box with lines coming out of it that looked like it had a on and off switch a blue container. It I couldn't find anywhere to turn flow up it may be a non ajdustable
I may have to find a booster pump

Here is a set of instructions:

I will double check the connections can someone show me a pic of the actual ro filter to make sure I don't have the waste / water liines crossed. I don't believe I do but I could be wrong

Ok double checked all the Plumbing and everything is as should be. I found a flow reducer and that bumped up the pressure to a constant 60 and it is shutting off on its own now once I close the valve so that should do it. of course now I got like 2 leaks I found fixed that with teflon and now its producing faster for me thanks again guys
