Well the day is getting close where I will be relocating from Atlanta to Kansas. I need some opinions on transporting my lifestock. My intention was to double bag my fish and fill the bags with oxygen as this is roughly a 13 hour drive. Where might I be able to find a small O2 tank local (loganville) for a very shot time worth of usage? Cannot imagine I have more than 10-15 bags that I will need to do this for. Your thought are much appreciated. Also anyone with experience in this do I need 100% O2 or the run of the mill 26% from say a scuba tank? Appreciate it

you might be able to get a LFS to fill for you but a cooler with an air stone and heater or power head would work

Get your LFS to do it and pack in styro with heat packs. That should give you about 24 hours or so if it's done right.

I agree with Jenn. If you've ever order fish online, just emulate how they do it. Styrofoam, bags and peanuts.

I have a medium and a small box filled with peanuts from an order I got the other day. You're welcome to them.

when moving like this if you put all fish in one Styrofoam cooler they will not bother each other . you can get a bubble box from walmart for $10 battery operated in sporting goods . make sure you tape the lid down all the way around so you dont spill out the water while driving . poke a hole in the top for air tubing to reach the bottom and tape it in place so you dont have to worry about air tube pulling out of the water .

cost $15 and works perfect
