I have decided that I cant bring myself to get rid of my fish tank so I am breaking it down and have a friend that's going to keep some stuff for me.
The tank is a 300 gallon glass tank so its quite heavy. Does anyone have anything that could make moving this tank easier.. basically for now its going out the house into a uhaul and to a storage building till we close on the new house we are buying. any tips would be appreciated as it took like 6 men to get it in our house and im not sure im going to have that many people help me this time. Im putting the tank in storage on the first. so I have my work cut out for me.

Wow.. I have a couple of short dollies. They are only 4 or so inches off the ground. I used them to move pianos. I am a LONG ways from you, so i don't think that will help. I am pretty sure that the Uhaul place should have piano dollies.

Hey Justin, I am only about 15 min from you. Just the other side of the land fill. If you need some help let me know. I will be happy to help any way I can.

Sounds like we need to throw a tank moving party again.

What's needed is several of those suction cup lifters and some able bodies.

When are you looking to do this?
(I'm in Canton, and several others are close by)

Thanks guys any help would be appreciated!! I am thinking I am going to be shooting for noon on Tuesday. Any idea where I could get my hands on the suction cups?

Noon works good for me. Are you in Ball Ground city limits or just near Ball Ground. I am just north of where Old Federal Hwy meets Hwy 369.

I have a box truck if you wanna pay for gas and wear and tear. Lot less then you all

Edit: We just moved my 330 with full stand and sump two weeks ago with it

dollies and suction cups both available at 1 of my favorite stores harbor freight

As I said, you can count me in! I'm not driving back from PA until Sunday now though due to weather but I'll text ya.

My address is 124 Bethany manor drive ball ground game 30107 I'm right near the plant belnik or how ever they spell it. If u turn on lower Bethany I'm in the first subdivision.
I will have my truck and another truck to load the tank and stand into. Its a straight walk from our living room to the truck just have to go out the front door. I'm going to check out that harbor store today/tomorrow and the fish store. Thanks a ton in advance to anyone that can help out getting it in the trucks. Were moving most the stuff out of our house today so I might be slow to respond on here.

Hey Justin. I may need to beg off on helping out. A couple things came up that need some attention. If you are short handed don't be afraid to say so and I will be there but if you have enough hands, I would like to get this stuff out of the way. Let me know when you can.
