Mp10 placement?

Should my mp10 be placed near the top of the glass or near the middle? I have it on the side, but where would it need to be for optimum performance top to bottom?

I put my MP40 just over half way up, so it's just above my rock formation.

That's exactly how I have mine. I had it a little lower and it wasn't quite making the surface flow very good. I moved it up a bit and now it's rocking. I was just getting other opinions. Thank you

It says to not have it so close to the surface where it causes cyclones with the water. For me that was around 3/4 up the tank, just a tad over half way.

Yeah after I moved it I was watching it for a while, checking to make sure there wasn't any cyclones.

It is on a 40b.

I would say but it a tad above midline. I had an MP40 on a 40 breeder and it worked well at that level.

Post some pics of the tank when you get a chance, 40 breeders are awesome sized tanks.

It just got finished cycling so no fish yet. I have big plans with this tank.
