MRC CR-4 Dual Chamber Calcium Reactor review?

I have the CR-2 and they are well made and thought out in my opinion.
Good reactors. Very reliable. No problems that I've seen.
These come up for sale occasionally here... A used one is normally around half price eventually.

So long, and thanks for all the fish.

if the biggest tank that i will ever get is no bigger than 200gallon overall water volumen and go ahead and get myself the CR-4, would that be ok? i know it's an overkill since CR-4 is rated for over 500gallon and whatnot but would my money go far? best bang for my dollars? the rational is that i'm of the belief that you should buy something twice as big as your setup. for instance, doubling up on the skimmer rating, etc

I really don't see there being a problem using a CR designated for larger tanks. A smaller one could be an issue as it would blow through media and you'd be changing it out more frequently.
