So I decided to add the the second injector and double the flow into my MRC-MR2........ MY GAWD!!!!! This thing is screaming!

If you own a MR2 and haven't added the addition injector your missing out!

Gentlemen, I just got one and it has the two inlets. what pumps are you using to drive the skimmer. Do you have the inlet t'd off into two lines or does your skimmer have one inlet that t's off at the skimmer. Sorry, that is confusing to me and I wrote it. Does your skimmer have one inlet that feeds both becketts or are you teeing off the line as it leave the pump, one line to each beckett. Thanks

I have two separate lines ran by two separate pumps. So one line, one pump per injector. But I think I may consolidate into a T with one pump. Would like to hear thoughts from others as well.

I run a MAG 24 T-lined into the injectors. I have it throttled back just a hair...

I run mine skimmer and pump submersed due to space constraints.

Dawgface, how did you setup the MR2 plumbing? Did you plumb it externally, or does yours work within a sump? Also, do you have yours under the tank, or do you have your own "fish room" with the skimmer in it?

I have heard great things about these skimmers, I am interested in how you set yours up!

I won't go into how it is now as this is a temp test to see if I like the dual injectors. I'll explain how I had it and how it will be setup up tomorrow.

My whole system runs off basically one pump, Reeflo Barracuda (something like 4800 GPH). The reeflo which runs externally from my sump is ran into a T. One directs to the OceansMotion and the other runs to a Manifold. The Manifold is what runs my Skimmer, UV, Chiller, 2 floor retuns and water change valve. My Chiller, UV and Skimmer are all ran on one valve and strung together in that order. The floor returns has one valve that is also on a T. Change valve is on it's own and obviously only turned on when pump is off to drain the DT for water changes.
The Oceans Motion controls the other 4 returns on the tank.

Edit: Oh and forgot one valve for the refugium, which is set on a very light trickle.

Edit: Sorry, I see I didn't answer the questions lol

It is ran inside the sump under the tank.
