Thanks!

I use Reef Salt so it takes care of CA. In the beginning I was adding Kalk, but my CA was over 500 so I stopped. Salifert only tests to 500 so I had no idea what the CA was reading. I do large water changes to make sure CA levels are maintained.

I don't test unless I see a problem. Everything has nice growth and is doing well. Just running into space issues now.

<span style="color: blue;">The very last picture<span style="color: blue;"></span> looks really cool. What is it?</span>

Scott!! woo hoo :welcome: to the ARC!!!!

So the other day at work, I over heard a conversation with the words "wavemaker" and "moon lights" so I perked up to find out who was talking. It was Scott, one on my co-workers!! He just bought a huge tank and so I recruited him into the most wonderful reef club in the world!!

Scott, I'm really not sure what kind of SPS that is... I would call it a "blue stick," but that's not very technical. Maybe an acropora?

I may be incorrect since I am not viewing the live animal, but it looks like a "tort" or "Acropora tortuosa".
If you visit
a> under "limited edition" you will find an example. This is a very attractive & desirable slow grower and usually has deep blue or purple colour. If you keep it alive and thrive, frags should be profitable!
