After being mia for almost two years, I decided its was time for another sw setup. I just moved to an apartment, so I sold my big tank and decided to setup my 29g. After I had it up and running (no live stock) I decided it wasn't big enough! So I started looking around on here for something 36x18x? Just to have room for a couple more fish and not such a cramped area. So I found this tank and just now got everything plumbed and in place, minus the ato. I haven't figured out how I'm going to incorporate the ato in. Its and oceanic 58g tank that's is 36x18x20, pacific coast skimmer, coralife 150 hqi with two 65w pc's and moon lights, and a megaflow 3 sump. I'm trying to do a simple setup that wouldn't break the bank, but already has!! I will get pics up soon enough! Its not a build thread but just for others to look at!

Finally have some livestock in the tank. I started with 5 large snails, added a few zoas, galaxie, and leather. Then added a few small blue legs, then just added 4 more snails and 20 more blue legs. And yesterday I put in five blue green chromis! Finally coming together! Slowly for once!!

I have been making slow progress, but the wait is well worth the survival rate of the fish. However, I have lost two snails and a chromis... I have 3 chromis and two tiny clarki clowns, leather, zoas, and mushroom.

Just curious which LED you are using ? and watts ? It is looks good to me.
I also thinking about change MH to LED on my 75.

got any idea of coral growth from the aquastyle kit yet, is that cap getting any growth?

It isnt as fast as the MH, but I am getting growth. However, it is still worth it to me bc I saw a noticeable difference on my power bill.

cool i just picked up the 65 ive been looking at and ill probably try the aquastyle setup whenever i get around to setting it up, im thinking of doubling up with that 72 kit though.or maybe the 48

I strongly recommend more than what I got... Just be careful not to bleach them when fist using LEDS. I did my monti. I wish I would have also mixed in 40* and 60* optics. It shines nice on the bottom, I just fear having SPS down on the bottom, or a clam.
