I just read that my canary blenny is venomous. Prior to purchase I had no idea this was the case. Should I begin wearing thick gloves in the tank or keep my hands out all together? If stung by the fish what would the results be (instant death or what)? The way the fish acts I assumed it was 100% peaceful and possessed no underlying issues. Thus far I've had no problems what so ever.

Thanks

The chances of the blenny actually biting you are slim to almost none. I've never heard of anyone being bitten - they'll flee first.

They are small fish, the only thing they are likely to bite, are foodstuffs that are small.

Relax.
