So I made a new one...

I was cleaning my reactor and accidently dropped it on the floor. Instead of tying to scramble and get a new one, I figured I'm going to use my recently acquired skills (from building a denitrator) to try and build a calcium reactor using some parts of the one I broke and use it untill I setup my new tank

Base using the sponge raiser/holder from the original reactor

Good luck with top fitting,
it's a true pain to get watertight under pressure...

Look at the size of that thing, it's bigger than the flatbed truck in the background! :D

Looks great. Curious to see how this works for you.

Hanin, I have to say that is one of the ugliest reactors I've ever seen! :D

Kudos, for no getting too po'd and building something!

Ugly is my middle name :)

And believe me, I was po'd as hell when it happened. I was so po'd that I could have broken it myself if it didn't fall already...

That's more like it. I've destroyed far too many things getting po'd like that! It feels good during the moment, but man is it expensive!

Looks good Hanin. I've been afraid of DIY stuff that can cause a flood in my house. But I guess with these DIY reactors they either leak or they don't.
