Whats up atlanta peeps?

Im sad to say that although I debated highly where to start my build thread, I finally decided to do it over at the local (miami) club forum on RC. Mainly because if I needed help with something (ie - a tank move), I was more likely to get it there than here since although I know most of you would help in a sec, the ten hour drive kind of gets in the way.

Anyway, in case you all wanted to follow along so you can see what you've all done to me and what kind of addict you've turned me into, here is a link to the build thread......enjoy.

I love the tank and the stand is sweet. I can't wait until you decide on a stain color.

thanks.....I decided on doing a dark cherry/walnut stain.......basically im trying to match the kitchen cabinets color wise and that way the two rooms come together.....since you can see the tank from the bar window in the kitchen.

what color and brand stain did you use? I really like that color and want to use it on mine

Thanks....Ill try and find it for you when I get home.....

I know the brand is Minwax....took me forever to find the right colors to mix cuz i was trying to match my kitchen cabinets......I know for sure one of the colors was Sedona Red...I think the other was Colonial Maple.....what I dont remember is the ratio....

Thanks MPH.....I love it, the only thing I would have done was redesign the canopy for practicality reasons....other than that I love it.

Skybird....glad I checked....Its actually Sedona Red and English Chestnut.....2 parts to 1. Both Minwax.
