My Diamond Watchman Goby is an a-hole!

Ranting here.....

He is a terror.....I know he's doing what he does but damn, constantly cloudy tank, always stirring and rearranging the substrate. I think in my 160G cube it wasn't that bad, but in a 50G cube its a bit different and he has more affect on the water. Debating about re-homing!

I had a blue spot gobie that did the same thing. I was tempted to laser him with my high powered laser. I sold him instead. You might want to do the same. It wont get any better

Funny, in my own PG parlance, this behavior (that only angers me) makes the goby a “butthead”. “A-hole” is typically reserved for bullying other fish!

I’d wait and see. Sounds like the tank is new so it might just be a matter of time. Add some larger grain sand to the substrate? I love fish that have a purpose and mild obsession in life, instead of just swimming in the water column. Is the cloudiness just fine sand? Your mechanical filter may eventually clear this out if it is from the sand mix.
