My first ever Scoly

I just received it yesterday. I missed the first attempt of FedEx delivery. I called the Customer Support and 4 hours later I received it. It's still alive.

I am looking for some tips of keeping it healthy. It is currently on the sandbed with low light and low-moderate flow.

Sand bed if fine, low to moderate flow is good also. Every 3 or 4 days, feed it half of a silver side. I usually shoot a bit of frozen around the oral disc to stimulate it than lay the silverside on it. That way it grabs on tight and it is hard for a hermit crab to steal it away. LOL The pic in my avatar is of mine eating a silverside.

Last night, while it was still in the sump, I saw a big mouth open when light was not on. Thanks for the tips

I feed mine at night. It is usually ready at that time to take whatever food you give it. Where did you get it?

Great coral to feed especially at night as mentioned. I fed mine everything from pellets to frozen same as my fish. Super healthy a responsive coral

ive got a couple scolys that i havent fed in a while im gonna feed them some of the nutridiet shrimp seachem gave us last night im sure theyll love it
