So here's what I got for my birthday this year. I've got a 120g tank, and this UV is over rated for 260g.

So yeah, this thing is waaaay bigger than what I thought it was going to be. My little 9w turbo twist UV will be up for sale soon. :) Die ick! Diiiiie!:yikes::yikes::yikes:

This isn't fitting under the stand... Now I've got to figure out how to plumb this thing in..

Nice unit, seems like it will do a great job. Can it be installed in the stand horizontally?

Just be aware that even though it's rated for a 260g tank, it's probably underrated for your 120g for anything that will do any good. But much better than a 9w... :)

I looked at the chart for your sterilizer, and it looks like it should have 943 gph for 30,000 uWs/cm2 of radiation. According to the chart below and doing a little math, you'll want to slow that down to ~80gph on this unit if you want to kill Ich (at 336,000 uWs/cm2). This is critical enough that you'll want to measure it out (using a bucket and a stopwatch or something similar).

Hope that helps...
