Just added her in with my Male a couple days ago. They seem to get along well:yes:
Pics are not the best due to me having to hold a flashlight and sneak up on them and take a crappy I phone pic

Thanks
I have 7 tanks but this one is 75 gallon with a 20 gallon sump. Mandarins do well if you have a male and a female or actually I believe you can have a couple females with 1 male.
I added several thousand pods and rotifers over 6 myths and my secret pod hotel that is a special PVC pipe with filter floss in it that they can have a little safe haven.

I have trained them to eat numar and sometimes they will eat .05 pellets
While in my QT I added pods but also numar and pellets and it took a couple weeks but they eat some of each.

Edit:

I believe reef 2go has pods for 250 pods delivered or 2000 for 25 delivered
Not to bad

Man, how and where did you find a female? Beautiful fisl. I've been looking for a female mandarin for a while...

I have both of my tanks stocked full of pods, but my mandarin eats both pods and frozen mysis. I keep pods around for my bangaii cardinals too...

The secret for reefs2go is to order the 250 that comes with free shipping, then add other orders of pods to your 250 order. Here's the rationale. It costs about $15.00 to ship any order of pods that doesn't come with free shipping. You can pay the $10.00 for the 250 pods with free shipping instead of the $15.00 to ship your larger order of pods. They combine like orders, so you get free shipping on the added order of more pods. This way instead of paying $15.00 for shipping, you pay $5.00 less, for the 250 order, and get 250 extra pods instead of paying for shipping...
Shhhhhh. Don't let anybody in on this... LOL...

Thanks for the tip I will be buying a pk like that once a mth for few more mths to be sure I have a good stock of Rotifers and pods . I looked around at several of or sponsors I found a female at Optimum aquarium and they had a couple of the female spotted dragonets also. I have the red mandarin and luckily they had one

mine only eats live pods unfortunately. It doesnt matter now since my pods are self sustaining but before it was a pain. I bought mine off ebay labeled "reef soup" and it hasnt let my fuge down :)

Wow, I salute you! Most people have problems keeping up with ONE tank (me included).

Thank you
I am in the process of getting a 150 soon and shutting down 3 or 4 of my smaller tanks
I have a couple 20 gal and a 29 bio cube and a 34 MRC cube I want to combine in a larger tank
That will leave me a 60,65,75 then the 150
I also keep a 10 gallon qt running that I maintain but don't really count
I enjoy them and its a stress relief even after it takes me about 2 hours to clean and water chg them 10% and wash out skimmer cups every 7-10 days

Thanks for the tip... I'll keep it in mind for my next trip to Atlanta...

Ha...I love it. Psychologically, any work that you do just because you want to, (not for money) increases happiness and reduces stress.

Congrats on your new red female...and Cheers to "Multiple Tank Syndrome"
