I've had him for about a week, but didnt' want to jinx it- now he's eating and swimming around and everyone is getting along.
Sorry that the pics aren't super.

Thanks! He spent his first few days at home hiding in the rocks and wouldn't even eat, then he'd eat, but only if no one was standing by the tank.. Then he'd come out to eat, but not any other time...

He still swims to hide whenever one of the boys run by the tank, but he's getting better.

I've wanted one for a while- but it took me a while to convince Dennis :)

Mine's a cowar....er....shy...too. Even after 3 months he hides and gets that rotten banana look whenever anyone approaches the tank.

I hope payment terms aren't as, umm, well, you know, as Kim's!

:lol2: LOL!!! Not same same...no services involved here! Just as simple exchange of money and product - you know - like drugs! :D

(surely there's an intervention and rehab for this hobby SOMEWHERE!)</em>

I think you will find that your foxface school's with your yellow tang. I had a foxface that anyone new he would mottle up but after he saw you a few times, he wouldn't even care.

I have some magnifecent foxfaces in stock that are all finally used to seeing me and now meet me at the front of their tanks when they see the food can. :)

If they are related it is up the line a ways. I think that certain fish click just like people.

With mine, the yellow tang and foxface were introduced at the same time and for the first 3 days the yellow would bully the foxface and it would swim away. After the third day, I watched the yellow tang go to back into the foxface, the foxface opened his spines and leaned toward the tang. That was the last time the tang bullied the foxface and after that they were buddies. :)

How would a Purple Tang and a Foxface do together if the Foxface is a bit larger than the PT? Do I need to pull my PT out of my tank? :confused2:
