So couldn't stay away any longer. It's not my dream tank or even the 140 I have in storage but salt is salt. Once i get the room I'll work on the big ones.

So this is not how it will end up looking In a few months. Just couldn't wait any longer and started with what I had:

JBJ Picotooe
AC70 - DIY Mod
25w heater
MM LED

Will be adding a DIY stand, sump (replacing AC70) and different LEDs, hopefully by the end of the year. Gonna mostly keep z's and p's but may add a few other pieces here and there as we go along.

Now just gotta let it cycle.

These little tanks area great for adding interesting inverts
that usually get overlooked in larger tanks will you be adding any or are you planning on a coral only tank?

I was gonna go with the typical cuc and a fish or two. Initially was thinking of a clown or warpaint goby. Had both before in there and they did great. Had the tank to themselves. But while picking up he sand and rock I saw some nano clownfish that were no bigger than my thumbnail and am considering 2 of those.

Nano clowns , nice do you know where they got them from as far as the breeder? I just did a Google search on nano clowns and every thing I found was from a couple years back and turned out to be baby clowns.

Honestly think that is all they are and just a marketing tool. Lol. But at tht size I think they will be good for a while. My old clown in a 40B I had stayed the same size for a pretty long time.

I had a clown I bought when I first started out in salt water reefing and didn't think it had grown any till I bought it a mate a few years later and seen how much it actually had grown. Would be cool to have a nano of the new long fin clowns that have recently came out though. If you decide to go with gobies oceans reefs and aquariums has a few cool aquacultured ones.

Hmm those are interesting. Think I may like them better than other fancy clowns. Can't imagine the cost tho.
