Why?

This has been bugging me my tank is more stable now than ever I checked my parameters and everythig is great there are things I can't test for such was mag. My salinity is 1.026

Ammonia 0
Calcium 430

check your alk, if it is low chances are your mag is low as well.

Check your nitrates too, I don't see them listed.

I don't know what my nitrates are doing but I do 2 gallon water changes every 4th day for a 12g tank because I feed heavy

The only thing that swings at all is my salt level but on a very small scale I keep my temps at 79 degrees. I run led lights so its very minimal water evap. I get plenty of flow from a maxijet 900 my phosphates might not be exactly 0.0 but they are low enough that the elos test kit does not register

Im gonna say your Mag is low which would cause your alk to drop. So if you can test for alk right now test that and if its low then your Mag will be low as well.

I honestly would feel better if I knew for sure instead of guessing.if this is low than this will be low because in the past I've had things happen to my tank that have confused even fish enthusiast way more experienced than me. My phosphates were so high when I first started taking my water to chris at einstiens I thought he was going to backhand me
