Nah, don't be jealous. It will happen when you least expext it. As you can see, the mother colony wasn't that big. I had a nem that was at least 10" wide and never split so you never know. I forgot to add that these pics are with the lights off. The bubble tips atr more visible when the lights are on.

would like to see them in full lighting action if you get a chance. how long did it take your clowns to host? mine took a few weeks, about when the bta opend to 4 times the size of the clown then they refused to leave the bta and were very protective of it.

You won't believe it, but they were in there with the nem for over 4 months and never did. I had to take all my rocks apart to catch a regal I had sold and put them back in a different location and the clowns just came to it. I guess they didn't like where it was before or maybe they knew it was going to split and left it alone. I'm not sure.

I definitely believe it. Hear plenty of stories of nem's that take a year or longer to get hosted. Who knows what is going through the heads of these sea creatures.

here are mine. The one at the top is the piece that split off. It looks as if the eye split in half.. Is that common? anyway, both pieces are nice and large. NICE!

I would like to see this as well, do you have any old pics of it Charlie. The ones I like the most Dave acroholic has but a quad color seems awesome too.

what makes it a quad color? not being a smart alec but why isnt it considered a dual color or something. I remember the avatar and it was a good looking piece hope both of them heal up nice with no complications

Oh. If that is a quad color then mine is similar. The base is a greenish tint. Cool.
