Nasarius snail

This guy showed up today. 1/4 inch long. Very cool if he was bred in the tank, I have several other adult ones in my tank. Haven't added anything in a while.

I have a ton of these in my 2 tanks! You won't see them much, until you feed. Then they will come out of the sand as if you stepped on an ant hill.

Most likely breeding in the tank , my nerite and nasarius breed in tank , I add a few crabs a couple times a year but never add snails.
The nasarius are great for cleaning up and stirring the sand bed.
IMO that's a good indication your tank is healthy.

Thanks. I like these snails, it is fun to watch them climb out of the sand bed.
