Currently I'm using a 20l, with a MRC skimmer (for sale now) plumed in externally.
I'm going with a larger skimmer (old ER), and need to put the skimmer in the sump.
Question is, will I end up with bubble issues because of the proximity of the skimmer/returns to the pump?
Seems like the only size tank I can squeeze under a 4'x18" is a 20/29, unless I spend out the anus for a custom acrylic sump (which I'm not going to do).
I plan on using a coast to coast overflow, and the beananimal standpipe setup (3 pipes, on emergency, one full siphon, one "standard"). Also going to sock the returns this time!
