Any guesses what these fuzzy little brown things are on this zoanthid? I've searched and searched for hydroids and algae trying to ID it, but I've had no luck.

The don't seem to bother the zoas, but I pull them off and they just grow right back.

Some have a multi-branching stem, almost transparent and can have several fuzzy heads.

Yep, that's them.

Yeah, been pulling them off, but they grow pretty fast. I'll have to add it to my list of daily tasks.

Thanks for your help. I searched WetWebMedia all day and didn't find that page. I guess "brown fuzzy algae/hydroids" isn't a good search term, huh?

Cool! I've got some Joe's Juice handy.

I took the rock out of the tank and scraped off most of them. The zoas look much better today, but I see I missed a few. I'll have to scrape it again today.
