Need clarification/help

Hi

Just want to know whether the Tiger pistol shrimp will eat the cleaner shrimp.

I had a large cleaner shrimp and it was happy and wondering all over my tank.

I bought a Tiger pistol shrimp from my friend and when I added to my 40 gallon breeder tank the next day I could no longer see my Cleaner shrimp.

Not sure were it went even couldn't find any dead skin of cleaner.

Will the tiger eat the cleaner if they are in the same 40 tank. I have lot of live rocks to hide though.

Also now i need to take away my Tiger pistol from my tank as its moving lot of sand shifting/digging work under the live rock.

How to catch the tiger pistol without disturbing the landscape of live rock and corals.

Please suggest.

There is a chance he could have goen in the tiger pistols hole and he got him but tigers are usually not aggressive , but its different tank to tank , creature to creature.
Try a pest trap made from a well cleaned soda bottle or 2 and put them at the mouths of his caves baited with a small piece of cocktail shrimp .
Make sure you put vent holes in the bottle , I caught a skunk cleaner in one before I caught my pistol and id forgotten to vent it , he was trapped for 4-5 hours and died.
Also be ready to catch crabs. I got up in the wee hours to check on mine.
If you have a sump toss it in there , as long as you remember to feed it occasionally it would be just fine.
