I have a 72" Aqua Medic Pro Light. Wanted to know if anybody has this fixture. I know that MH are 150W but threw away the PC like a dummy wo looking what wattage they were. I do know that they are 11 in long from measuring the space in the light. Also want to know if everybody just mounts it to the wall or has anybody made some legs for it or hangs it on the ceiling?

Aqua Medic does not make legs for this fixture but they do have a hanging kit that you should be able to find pretty easily. IIRC they are 32w PCs

maybe its a 13in pc bulb but still unsure

Edit: How high does the light need to be off the tank? Can I do any coral with this light as well. The tank is 20H and 18W

From the pic it looks like its 3 metal halides and PC supplement. If that is the case you should be able to have anything you want in the tank. I would mount the light about 10-12 inches off the water.

I guess I could look into it but the ballast on this fixture are within it. So if they go ill just have a whole new problem then. I was thinking about just running actinic for the morning and at night for a hour or so after the MH go off.
