Need help wiring

don't think you can get that in or get it to stay the socket, if the wires on the ballast is long enough cut then and use that to loop or if you have a old or junk ballast laying around, cut that up and use it.
 
I will use the wires from the ballast w the hard ends to connect to the end caps. And then make the "run" w the braided wire. Just wanted to make sure there wasn't a problem combining them

Also what do I do w the ground wire from the electric? Just put it under a nut on the fixture?

yea that's fine, just incase the light has a short it will go to ground.

nice, glad it worked out.
those ballast are really work horse's and can be used in many different ways and for many other applications, i'm driving my 57w uv sterilizer with WH3.
