Reefers - I do have a question, I had paid via paypal for a skimmer (half of the price) on this forum, now looks like the member isn't active anymore, also inbox is full to send PM to ask for an update/refund, any idea how to get in touch with the member either to get refund for the item for which deposit has been paid ? PLEASE HELP :sad::unsure::sad::unsure:

Three years on here and nothing like that has ever happened to me. Usually the opposite, getting more than what I paid for! A mod should reach out to you pretty soon to assist you with this. Sorry to hear that happened. FYI I have a couple xtra skimmers I just discovered. Let me know if you are interested.

what is the member's user name? Maybe someone will know them and have contact information. The other option is to file a claim with paypal. Sorry you are having to deal with a situation like this, I've been burned the same way unfortunatley. I hope this helps. good luck.

Why did you wait 4-5 months to take action? Has the member refused to provide refund or just disappeared? Much like chony I've only had positive buying experiences.

Talking with a Mod may help but, the club allows members to sell items but does not police these sales. Basically, you buy and sell at your own risk.

In all fairness, the person does have 71 posts. But the MIA thing makes me wonder too. Maybe the person in question saw the post and contacted him to resolve. Hopefully works out so everyone is happy. Not going to even begin to judge anyone.

Were you getting your taxes ready and noticed that you paid for something and forgot to pick it up 5 months ago? When I buy something online I'm like a 10yr old before Christmas and I'm calling/tracking it down the day that it is late. Great place for buyer/seller feedback.
