I woke up this morning and turned on the light and noticed hundreds of these things all over the glass. Then i looked again and they are alive and moving. They are tiny and white and all over the glass.. hundreds of them. You cant really see them in the pic.. but its the best i could do. Someone please tell me what the heck these are. They look like little mites or something...

Can't tell from the picture. Assuming they are not pods, maybe flatworms?

they are white and look similar to sperm.. very tiny. maybe the size of a pinhead. they are all on the front glass and kind of swim around a little bit. but there are hundreds of them. what should i do? they definitely arent flat worms.

Edit: if they are pods or hydroids are they bad?

I think they're pods. That's good.

Hydroids: bad.

Hydroids at that stage usually look more like tiny spiders and don't move as much.

What you're describing sounds much more like copepods.

they dont look like spiders at all. heres a video.. the best i could do. If they are pods.. should i just let them be? Im going to clean the glass this morning.. its very dirty so most will prolly be wiped out.

If they move around, theyre likely copepods. Hydroids usually look like little anemones on the glass.

Hmm.. Snails, hermits, thats about it... Unless something in corals or LR i dunno about. Lol
