You are correct sir. Yours looks like hair which would be indicative of pavona or even psammacora.

lol Yes. I was just going by what the guys handing it out at the meeting said. They said it was hydnophora and would kill anything it touches..scary. BUT now that I know it's not that I'd love a piece of it when it grows out! lol Thanks! Well I hope the guy enjoys it anyway. Thanks for the offer!
