hey guys!

i'm in need of an ID. i tried taking a pic but i can't get a nice one. it's way too small.


it's hollow and cylindrical in shape. rounded like an anemone tentacle at the top. imagine if you will that it is a baby baby anemone tentacle except it's clear.

any idea what it could be?? varied length. some are long others are about the length of a hair algae bloom.

Look up pics of a hydroid and of a vermatid snail to see if either of those are what you are working with

negative on both. thanks for the try though lol

they remind me exactly of what galaxea and other feelers do at night. they look exactly like them. somewhat more visible at the tip/somewhat bulbed. clear/white

there are sponges all over that specific rock. do any of those have feelers or extensions of any kind??

this thing has no body that i can see unless it's inside the rock somewhere. it's just tentacles. they aren't in the same spot, and one or two seem to just be connected to the rock. honestly ti reminds me a lot of when u'd see anemone poop stuck to a rock after one deflates. except it's not brown, it's almost completely clear
