i use to have quite a few sps in my biocube 14 before i broke it down..unfortunately i dont have pics until after i took the sps out...ive got some birdsnest and monti in my biocube 28 but hope to get more sps this weekend...check out all the nano tanks of the month at nano-reef.com lots of good nano inspiration there
I just saw a "multi colored monti" on there there...very cool - I didn't know you could do this, but he place multiple monti frags of the same type (capricornus i think) but different colors next to each other, as they grew, they grew together - very cool look!

Monti caps really aren't a good fit for nano tanks, they grow pretty fast & get big. I just put some sps frags from my big tank in my nano, 2 stylos 1 slowish growing blue staghorn & a unknown acro that is small & grows a bit slow. No pix yet sorry. I have a 27w LED par bulb for light, small skimmer & plan on about 50% water changes weekly to keep water quality good.
I have a 14 with 3 different monti caps. You just got to trim them down. In the same tank I have 5 different acros. A total of 31 different corals. I have no skimmer an do 1.5 gal water change once a week no problems except I dose 8.4 daily to keep up with the alk. If you want pics pm me. I can not load any more pics as I have used all my space.

hmm i had a 14g biocube and did 20 percent weekly and had great success...50 percent seems like overkill unless you are talking 3 gallon nano but maybe im wrong
I guess maybe mine may not be a nano per se; its a 40 breeder, but this definately doesn't fit in the "large tank" area...still need the inspiration though
