need to borrow a mp40wes driver to upgrade firmware

Ok, so I found out if I can get someone to let me borrow their VorTech driver, I can copy the firmware over to mine to correct any issues I am having, specifically creeping night mode. takes all of 2 and a half minutes according to the full manual of EcoTech's site.

So now I am putting this out there, does anyone have one I may borrow to get mine updated? I am in desperate need. Thanks all.

well, yea, I didn't mean that I would take it and disappear. Just need to get with someone to borrow it enough to complete the upgrade that is close enough that my tank won't suffer long with out it.

I wasn't implying you would, just saying that you could take your driver to someone's house and do the update as well as borrowing one.

Yea, I wish there were some members close but I'll be going to Einstein's to use one of his many vortechs he has on his tanks to do that upgrade. hopefully this will solve the issue for good. for now tho, i am gettin ancey waiting on my swalesi basslet to show it self so i know it is there.

FWIW I have 2 MP60wes if they are c<span style="color: black"><span style="font-family: Verdana">ompatible </span></span>your welcome to use them. Only other problem is that I'm out of town until Saturday.

all the firmware is the same for all models so you don't have to have a certain model to get the right firmware, i assume as i was told by ecotech i could use any of them.

You're more than welcome to come to my place and upgrade your MP40. I have an MP40W, MP40WES and an Apex with WXM module. Pretty much got you covered with any model MP40. I'm at I-75 and I-285. PM me if you're interested.

I have a swalesi as well. Almost a waste of money. I never see him out in the water except to grab a piece of food. He's always lurking in the rocks. Oh well.
