and don't want to spend another $400+ to replace my outgrown filter. Can I just use a rubbermaid container in it's place? I've heard that they buckle, but I was going to get one that fits into my cabinet.

I have a wet dry you can have - just removed it from my system a couple days ago - i cracked it at the bottom but ive done it before and fixed it - works well - just need to fix the small crack i made on sat!

Thanks guys. The problem is that I have to get it to fit in a side cabinet(kinda like an entertainment center build). I need the dimensions to be 17" wide and 35' deep. The height is not an issue unless it's over 4'. Gnashty, thanks for the generous offer. Let me know if it is close to these dimensions. The one I have now overflows out onto my wood floor whenever the power fails.

Look for a 29g. I think Petco is having their $1/gallon tank sale going on right now, you might get one pretty cheap!

i think mine is 12 x 35 x 15 - it was a trickle filter converted to a sump but i still have all of the parts minus the bio balls if your looking for a trickle filter.

it does not currently hold water and is a lil dirty but its an easy fix.

lmk

I would personally take the cheap glass tank route and build a sump.

That is the same size I have now and it overflows out whenever the power to the pump is interrupted. Started happening after I upgraded to a bigger skimmer. Thanks for the offer, though.

Get in touch with Woody at prcision, MRC or Chris at Fishscales for a nice acrylic custom.
PM jaustin if you want glass to find out who did his custom up there
